Short Kurtis

The short kurti is the most versatile piece in an ethnic wardrobe. It ends around the hip, which makes it as easy to wear with jeans as with straight pants, and it brings a touch of craft to everyday dressing.

About Short Kurtis

Most of our short kurtis are Aari work in ruby cotton, a soft, sturdy cotton that holds embroidery well. Many belong to our Summer Tops collection, with florals around the neckline in two-tone combinations such as black and pink, olive and blue, mustard and purple, or red and purple.

Our Chikankari short kurtis are hand-embroidered in Lucknow and come in soft cotton and Chanderi. They are light and airy, made for warm days, and sit just as well under a jacket as on their own.

Pair a short kurti with denim for an easy weekend, or with tailored trousers for work. Sizes run from XS to XXL, with the chest measurement in inches shown on each product page, along with the fabric of that piece.
