Stoles & Shawls
A stole or shawl is often the first piece of Kashmir people fall in love with. It is the simplest way to wear the valley's craft: draped over the shoulders, wrapped against the cold, or folded over a plain outfit to lift it.

About Stoles & Shawls
Our pashmina stoles come in two styles. Some are finished in zari, which gives a soft metallic glint across the stole. Others are finished with Tilla floral borders worked in metallic thread. Both are light enough to wear every day and warm enough for a winter evening.
Alongside them sit our Sozni shawls in semi pashmina from the Koshur Winter collection, with fine embroidered borders. There are also embroidered stoles with multicolour florals and paisley borders, and Aari cape shawls with floral vines, cut to sit over the shoulders like a light cape.
Colours stay deep and versatile: black, charcoal, graphite, olive, indigo, navy and beige, with a few brighter tones such as magenta and coral. Each product page lists the fabric and care for that piece.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a stole and a shawl?
A stole is narrower and lighter, easy to drape over one or both shoulders. A shawl is wider and can be wrapped fully around the body for warmth.
What is semi pashmina?
Semi pashmina is a soft, lightweight blend of fine pashmina wool with other fibres. It gives natural warmth and a graceful drape at an everyday weight.
What is a cape shawl?
A cape shawl is shaped to sit over the shoulders like a light cape, so it stays in place without needing to be pinned or re-draped.
How should I care for a pashmina stole?
We recommend dry cleaning. Store it folded in a breathable bag, away from direct sunlight.
