Aari Work

Aari is a Kashmiri embroidery technique worked with a fine hooked needle that draws thread through the fabric in one continuous chain stitch. Because the line never breaks, it can curve, coil and fill a space with ease, which is why Aari florals look so fluid, whether they trace a neckline or climb the length of a sleeve.

About Aari Work

This edit gathers every Aari piece in the house. You will find co-ord sets and short and long kurtis in ruby cotton, relaxed kaftans and kaftan sets in crushed and soft cotton, pherans and cape shawls for the colder months, and a pair of silk sarees. The same embroidery also appears on our leather barfi, top handle and sling bags.

Aari runs through several of our collections, including Koshur Summer, Shalimar Summer, Shalimar Winter and Summer Tops. Colours range from soft pastels to deep wine and black, with thread chosen to sit quietly on the fabric or to stand out against it.

Wear a ruby cotton co-ord for an easy, put-together day, or let a kaftan set carry a long evening at home with family. Each product page lists the fabric, size and measurements of that piece.
